The Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce launched its first ever STEM Business Breakfast at St Albans Girls School.
The aim of the programme is to encourage young women to think about the range of careers within STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths).
More than 90 people attended the launch on Thursday, November 27, including students, businesses, governors and teachers.
Several representatives from various organisations commented on the success of the event and found the speakers to be very inspirational.
