Visitors to the Maltings Shopping Centre in St Albans will be treated to live music and entertainment from Antartic guests on Saturday.
Between 11am to 4pm two giant penguins and their baby will be waddling around the centre greeting shoppers.
They will be accompanied by the Mardi Gras jazzband, who will be playing Christmas songs.
Phil Corrigan, shopping centre manager said: "It is sure to be a day filled with festive fun, but it doesn't end there, we have music, carol singing cats and a meerkat riding a camel to fit in before Christmas."
