A St Albans District councillor charged with common assault after an incident at a recycling centre in St Albans has had his case adjourned.
Conservative Councillor Salih Gaygusuz was arrested at Ronsons Way in Sandridge last month in connection with an alleged altercation with a man in his 40s.
Councillor Gaygusuz, of Southfield Way, did not appear at court this morning. He is now due before Central Herts Magistrates on October 17.
