For the first time in 12 years, St Albans Cathedral is hosting a flower festival this weekend.
The arrangements at the Music in Bloom festival are all themed on musical titles - classical pieces from Vivaldi, Handel and Holst will take their place alongside modern classics from Adele, Abba, and Elton John.
Preparations for the festival started in September 2012. The largest arrangement will be 18ft tall with around 400 arrangers involved from churches, organisations and flower clubs around the region.
The festival will run from September 25 until September 28. It will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 10am and 5pm and between 1pm and 6pm on Sunday.
