Elderly man dies after collapsing at St Albans supermarket
A man in his 70s has died after he collapsed and went into cardiac arrest in a St Albans supermarket.
Two ambulances from the East of England Ambulance Service were called to Waitrose in Mayne Avenue just before 11.30am yesterday morning.
He was given CPR at the scene, but was pronounced dead upon arrival at Watford General Hospital.
The man had collapsed and hit his head as a result.
