A St Albans school pupil is currently enjoying performing in a five-star sell-out London production.
Asha Banks, who attends drama classes at Top Hat Stage School in St Albans on Saturday mornings, is performing in 1984 at the Almeida Theatre.
The 10-year-old plays the Parsons' child in the play, which has been receiving rave reviews since it opened on Thursday, February 13. Asha is part of a cast of nine actors who began the play at Nottingham Playhouse and have taken it around the country before coming to London.
Asha, who performs three nights a week, said: "I am having such a good time in this play and the director and team at the Almeida theatre are so talented, but also so much fun. I am learning so much about acting from the other actors like Hara Yannas and Mandi Symonds, who plays my mum."
