Women's group welcomes new members
A group dedicated to transforming the lives of women and girls based in St Albans is delighted to welcome six new members to its club.
The global women's organisation Soroptimist International St Albans and District announced the news at its first meeting of 2014.
The Club's Membership Officer Helen Byrne said "I am very excited that these wonderful women have joined our Club and hope they will all enjoy their membership.
"I am sure that as Soroptimists they will inspire action and transform many lives of women and girls in the exciting times ahead for the Club and the international women's organisation they have joined."
