John Joseph Gilmartin, 57, of Bricket Road, St Albans. On November 29, 2013, stole eight cans of Special Brew from Tesco, Watford. Commission of further offence during operational period of suspended sentence order made on November 28, 2013, for theft (x5). Committed to prison for 56 days.
Gavin Andrew Curragh, 31, of Spencer Street, St Albans. On Oct-ober 21, 2013, stole alcohol worth £30.99 belonging to M&S, St Albans; also, on October 21, 2013, resisted a community support officer in the execution of his duty. Commission of further offence during operational period of a suspended sentence order made for using threatening, abusive or insulting words with intent to cause fear or provocation and racially/religiously aggravated common assault/beating. Committed to prison for one month suspended for 12 months. Order includes activity, alcohol treatment and supervision requirements. Costs: £165.
Mohammed Hussain, 24, of Longfield Road, Harpenden. On June 8, 2012, made an indecent photograph, namely a level 2 image of a child; also, on same date, made an indecent photograph, namely a level 1 image of a child; also, similarly, on April 30, 2011, June 28, 2010 and on March 3, 2011; also, on or before July 24, 2012, was in possession of 20 level 1 images of children. Community order made with programme and supervision requirements. Costs: £145. Sexual offences prevention order made.
Sam Harrison Rosenkranz, 22, of The Avenue, Radlett. On September 9, 2013, en route near Radlett entered a train without having a valid ticket. Fine, compensation, costs: £116.
