Families can enjoy a day of music, skating and food promised at a St Albans youth club this Saturday.
The Pioneer Club, in Heathlands Drive, off Harpenden Road, will host Lovestock music and skate jam one day festival from 2pm to 11pm, which has been organised by the Pioneer Charity.
For Lovestock 2013, Pioneer has broadened the musical horizon to include a second DJ area which will present a full day of dance and electronic music by the Skate Jam Collective.
Live bands and acts ranging presenting a range of genres from Contemporary Rock to Indie to singer-songwriters and alternative upstarts will also be on the main stage as well as a skate jam in the skate park.
Tickets are £6 each, with proceeds going towards the Pioneer Charity. Children under the age of 14 years should be accompanied by an adult after 9pm.
