Residents will be able to create their own works of art by taking inspiration from household objects at a workshop in St Albans.
The Museum of St Albans will host the session on Saturday, May 11.
Visitors will be able to make a piece of art to go on display in the museum until the end of June.
Councillor Mike Wakely, portfolio holder for sports, leisure and heritage at the county council, said: “This workshop is a great opportunity to learn more about how artists are inspired by everyday objects and to have a go at creating your own artwork."
For more information on the workshop call 01727 819340 or visit the museum’s website at www.stalbansmuseum.org.uk.
