The Town Council are highly delighted with the increase in income following the refurbishment of Hatfield Kids Fun Zone in May 2012. Since the project was completed over 800 children’s parties have taken place with income exceeding the budget by £19,000.
The Fun Zone is available for public use Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm at £4 for toddlers, £5 for older children and £1 for adults. A height restriction of 5’ is in place during this period. During the evenings and at weekends the facility is available for exclusive use parties starting at £100 for 90 minutes play for those aged 15 and below with no height restriction.
A childminder initiative has proved popular during term times with a £3 fee for all children under the care of a registered childminder. An annual unlimited pass for £50 during all public sessions has recently been introduced.
