Fond memories can be shared at reminiscing sessions starting in the Musuem of St Albans next month.
Residents are invited to share their childhood memories, centred on games, sweets and entertainment at the first free session on Tuesday, March 26. Further sessions, which will take place on the last Tuesday of every month, will consider different topics, ranging from childhood games and toys to nights out on the town.
Councillor Mike Wakely, portfolio holder for sports, leisure and heritage at the district council said: "These reminiscence sessions will be a great opportunity to make new friends, share memories about the past and build a potentially valuable new archive of local information.
"We hope this event will attract a regular following. Everyone will have a lot to contribute and we look forward to hearing about a range of experiences from different times and cultures."
The first session will take place between 2pm and 3pm and people of all ages are welcome.
