Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Welham Green on Sunday (13th January).
Between 6.20pm and 6.30pm, a number of offenders have forced entry to a property in Holloways Lane through a window.
They have then made their way upstairs in the house and made and untidy search of two rooms.
The victim, a 50-year-old man, has then returned home and at least three offenders have come down the stairs and run out of an open patio door. A tablet computer was taken by the offenders.
DC Glen Turrell-Oldacre, from the Local Crime Unit in Hatfield, said: “Anyone with information about the incident should contact police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference B2/13/130.
"Alternatively, call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
