Residents are being invited to have their say about what they love and hate about the Museum of St Albans.
As part of Occupy the Museum, people will be able to put up post-it notes around the building to share their views.
Councillor Mike Wakely, portfolio holder for sports, leisure and heritage at the council, said: "Occupy the Museum is a fun, free interactive event where you have the chance to have your say about the Museum of St Albans.
"The information from the event will be used to help us to continue to offer programmes that are of interest to everyone.
"It will also help us to ensure that the museum continues to reflect the community’s view on what is special about St Albans."
Visitors can put up their post-its from 6pm until midnight on Friday, January 25.
