Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an assault took place in Welwyn Garden City. The offence occurred on Sunday, December 9th at 12.25am on Bridge Road East when the victim, a man in his 20s, was approached by three men. One of the men has then hit the victim in the face causing serious injuries. The offenders have then made off in the direction of the town centre.
The offenders are described as three white males aged between 16 and 18 years old. One was of a heavy build with blond hair and was wearing dark clothing; another had brown hair and was also wearing dark clothing.
