Officers are releasing CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a criminal damage offence.
The offence occurred on Friday, November 9th at 2.30pm in Howardsgate, Welwyn Garden City. A car, a silver Audi, tried to push into a parking space in the drop off point under the Howard Centre, where another car, a black Honda, was already waiting.
The driver of the Audi proceeded to park his car behind the Nationwide building society before walking back to the drop off point where he scratched the black Honda.
PC Joe Clapham is investigating and would like to speak with the man pictured as part of his inquiries. If anyone recognises the man they should contact the Herts Police non-emergency number 101quoting the crime reference number B1/12/3096, or alternatively call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
