Are you sitting comfortably?
Alan Sharp asks if we aren't all a bit too comfortable these days. Maybe we need to get out of our comfort zones, and do something...
Alan Sharp was born and bred in St Albans, where he has lived most of his life. His careers were in librarianship and then as a teacher, working in local schools from 1968 until taking early retirement in 1989. He is a Methodist, and has been a lay preacher for 56 years; and a church organist for nearly 60 years, mainly in Anglican churches. He is a member of Marlborough Road Methodist Church where he worships on alternate Sundays. He also attends St Mary’s Church, Marshalswick, on a regular (ie daily!) basis.
