Firefighters were called to a building fire in Harpenden this afternoon. Crews from Harpenden and Wheathampstead were called at 3.28pm to the fire in St Albans Road. Hose reels were used to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters were called to a car fire in St Albans last night. A crew from Borehamwood were called at 7.15pm to Park Street, where a blue BMW was smoking. The fire was extinguished by 7.30pm.
