Travellers, whose three caravans have been parked on a cycle path behind Tesco, are finally set to move on. 

They arrived in early December, gaining access to an unprotected strip of land between Tesco's and Birchwood playing fields. But last week County Council notices to quit were taped to the caravans and a nearby tree. It is understood that the Travellers should be moving by the end of the week unless there are compelling reasons for any to stay.

Nearby, there is a mound of refuse waiting to be be cleared up.
