Voting is now open for this year’s St Albans Food and Drink Festival.

Residents can now choose their favourite restaurant, café, pub, bar and local producer in the district.

Mayor of St Albans Councillor Eileen Harris said: "The festival is now in its fifth year and is a wonderful event that showcases a fantastic range of food and drink produced in St Albans."

The winner of each category will be announced during the festival, which begins on Wednesday, September 26.

The nominated venues were unveiled yesterday.
