FASHION from the 50s, the decade Queen Elizabeth II came to the throne, will be the focus of a special history event at Verulamium Museum next month.
The 'Fabulous Fifties' event has been organised by the museum in St Michael's to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Costume historian Lucy Adlington from the History Wardrobe will combine history and fashion in an informative and entertaining way when she transforms a 1950s domestic drudge into a domestic goddess.
To see fashion being brought to life you can buy a ticket, priced £10, for the event on Sunday, June 10 at 3pm.
Tickets are available from the Verulamium Museum or by calling 01727 751 810.
