TWO hair stylists from St Albans groomed celebrities ranging from X-Factor star Chico to television birdwatcher Bill Oddie for the video for a charity World Cup single.
Georgia Merritt and Jenny Leyton of the HOB salon in Chequer Street joined colleagues from other branches at Pinewood Studios, where the Welsh-Moroccan singer was recording the video to his single It's England Time.
The single will be released on May 24 to raise money for the Rainbow Children's Foundation, which provides education and healthcare for impoverished youngsters.
Other stars of the video whose hair was prepared by the St Albans pair included X-Factor finalist Andy Abrahams, models Lizzie Cundy and Bianca Gascoigne, Big Brother’s Maysoon Shiladi and comedienne Kate Robbins.
Chico, who had a number one single with It's Chico Time after appearing on X-Factor in 2005, said: "I want to thank everyone at HOB Salons for their amazing professionalism and incredible styling on the video shoot - it made everyone feel like a million dollars."
