Plans for a new beauty parlour and nail salon have been approved for Station Road in Harpenden.

The use of 20 Station Road can now change from retail to sue generis (meaning 'of its own kind').

Floor plans included within the application show a nail room, kitchen, treatment room and "barrister station".

A nail and beauty zone and waiting area are also included in the plans.

A decision notice published by St Albans City & District Council's planning committee states: "In the pursuance of their powers, the Council hereby permit the development proposed by you in your application dated February 21, 2024.

SUGGESTED READING

"The development hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of three years from the date of this permission."
