A teenager has been arrested in connection with a number of thefts in a London Colney street.
The thefts, which include a burglary, occurred in Azalea Close on Sunday, October 18.
In the first incident, police said the burglars gained access to a house in the street and stole a mobile phone and a car key to an Audi. They attempted to drive the car away but were unsuccessful.
At another house, the burglars managed to break into a vehicle and steal a laptop.
They also attempted to gain access to another vehicle but were unsuccessful after the alarm sounded.
Police were called to the street after reports of two men acting suspiciously at 2.50am. When they arrived they saw two people leaving on pushbikes.
A 16-year-old boy from London Colney has been arrested. He is currently on police bail.
Detective Constable Paul Cullinan said: "Firstly I would like to appeal to anyone who has any information about these incidents to please contact the police.
"I would also like to remind residents to ensure their homes and vehicles are fully secure."
