Drivers can expect congestion on the M25 near St Albans this afternoon due to a van fire.
Fire fighters were called to the M25 clockwise between Junction 22 A1081/ B556 (St Albans/The Bell Roundabout/ London Colney and Junction 23 A1(M)/ A1/ A1081 St Albans Road/ Bignells Corner South Mimms after the white Vauxhall Vivaro became ablaze just after 2pm.
Lanes one and two were initially closed when the fire broke out. Lane two was reopened at 2.25pm and lane one shortly before 2.45pm.
