Residents are being asked to have their say on plans to introduce a new toddler’s play area in Harpenden.
Following allocation of funding from St Albans District Council and Harpenden Town Council, the children’s activity area will be introduced at Porters Hill.
So far consultations with Sauncey Wood Primary School, Little Larks and Skylarks Nursery in Harpenden Children’s Centre have been undertaken with over 130 children giving their views on what equipment and activities they would like to see.
Councillor Simon Leadbeater, chair of environment at the town council, said: "The development of the toddler area will be a wonderful addition to the play area and encourage families to play together."
The council hopes final designs will be completed by the beginning of September and hope the project will be completed in October.
Residents are now being asked to fill in an online survey to have their say.
